We’re social beings and our little champs view who they are, primarily through social interactions. Social environments largely chosen by guardians: “my teacher gives me a pat on the back when I write neatly, that’s why I’m a neat writer” or “I was picked last for sports again, it must mean I’m not sporty”.
Any environment that’s created intentionally is better than one that’s managed unconsciously.
When the Pikinini Scientist sprinkles love dust, they learn to know when they need to fill up and who to help them fill up when they feel depleted. They also learn that creating their own magic is in their power every time. The interactions do not have to dull the moment. But they can still accept awesome experiences when offered by vital external moments.
In conclusion, the journey of self-discovery for our little champs is greatly enhanced when intentional social environments are consciously designed. By instilling a sense of agency and self-love, we enable them to weather the storms of social interactions while embracing the joy that external moments can bring.
Let's commit to fostering environments where our children not only thrive but also learn to create their own magic, making every interaction a moment of growth and empowerment.
